COMMENTS:
I question the suitability of the 9-inch Finworks fin. I had trouble with it spinning out on jibe entry. The boards come without fins. This fin was sent by French.
A great board for someone who sails flat water 75
percent of the time and waves 25 percent. Its wave
performance would improve with the addition of a center rear footstrap option.
Smooth, fast, wavy. Most excellent. Up there with North Shore Maui 264. This was the dealer who confused Bics with Kinetics, and, later this day would record a Starboard as an AHD in his comments. Wavy, like the North Shore Maui 264? Were wondering if maybe he wasnt kind of wavy himself.
Finally, we have a curious no comment. One day a sailor tried the Bic Saxo RT, Starboard 88 Wave and Starfish, ending the
afternoon on the French 8-6. He wrote paragraphs on the other three boards, not a word on the French, which he gave straight 4s. The next morning the chopper was overhead taking pictures, so sailors ran for their favorite and most controllable rigs. This guy chose the French. He sailed four more boards that day. Still, nary a word on this board. We think he must have liked it.
