This is probably the most important board for French, and he thinks it will be a big seller. “I just delivered a bunch of them to Southern California,” he said. “Some of the hottest guys are already riding them in Seal Beach and Cabrillo, and they’ll take them to Mexico.”
Overall, in the Maui conditions of both flat water and waves, the ratings on the 8-11 were more consistent than with any other board, a good indication that French has achieved his objective (see sidebar) with this one.
