Boards: Hi-Tech @ Maui

Control Bump Speed Style King Surf

Hi-Tech 8' 8"
Hi-Tech wave boards have always been particularly well-suited to Maui’s choppy, wavy side-shore conditions and this new 8’8” is no exception. It has a lot of vee and rocker, features which help keep it in the water in rough chop and make it extremely loose on a wave. They also make it slow to plane, a fact that limits the 8’8” to windy sideshore conditions. This board’s non skid is quite grippy and its other components are excellent. Its tough construction and big size make it a good board for heavyweights who sail in powered sideshore conditions.
