| Based on comments from light weights and heavy sailors alike, the NSM Wave 254 is easily the most versatile small wave board. Fran Dickson dubbed the 254 “Ms. Congeniality” for its ability to stick to the water when you want it to, and then execute a turn with the slightest rail pressure. Cindy Ross perceptively noted that the 254 not only is fast, smooth and loose, but also has more volume than other small wave boards and that this is distributed a little farther forward than on most. The result, a fun board for experts and a relatively easy board for intermediates. |

| The NSM B&J 268 is another well-rounded, versatile, do-everything board. The deck shape and outline make if feel a lot like a slalom board, and the footstraps can be set for good slalom performance. Part of that slalomy feel comes from a tail that’s wide in relation to the overall width, and part comes from the fact that the B&J 268 is somewhat narrow and thick. It’s corky. It likes to be powered up, while at the same time it’s quite loose-feeling and easy to turn whether on a wave or in choppy water. Advanced to expert sailors will like the light construction. |
