Ho’okipa veteran Renata Fuzetti, loved the Wave 251. She thought it felt really light and easy to turn - good for riding waves and getting big air. Other pros thought it great as either a wave or a bump board. That said, Kaye Whitney, an intermediate wave sailor, found the Tiga Wave 251 to be a little too small for her taste. Aside from the fact that the big, comfortable deck pad was starting to show wear after a few weeks of use, the construction and components are good.

Pros tended to think of the Tiga Wave 267 as a superbly loose, delightfully smooth-turning wave board, while guest testers tended to say stuff like, “rips through chop and break - FAST and stable” (David Watson), and, “Fast - I would use this board for blasting around more than wave riding” (Ed Jardini). We can only conclude that it’s a chameleon that changes traits according to who’s riding it. Any way you look at it, this board’s a winner.
