Control Bump Speed Style King Surf

Worldsails Taylormade Wave
The folks at World Sails aim to produce a good sail for a great price, and with their latest effort have, as usual, done just that. The Taylormade Wave is a camless sail with a soft, power-oriented feel and good speed. It’s not a tight, highly wound-up sail, as little downhaul is required to loosen the leech a suitable amount and to pull the battens tips to the side of the mast. This is what makes it so quick to power up. However, we don’t recommend the kind of heavy downhaul tension that many sails take, because that just causes the leech to flutter and doesn’t do much for the sail’s top end. For intermediate to advanced riders, this sail offers good performance at an excellent price.
