Club Paradise: Wednesday, October 13
NEW TEAM of testers working hard at Club Paradise. Among the group are six doctors from central coast California and one commodity trader from New York City, all returning for their second season as guest testers. The wind gods must have been happy to see the returning team. It blew five solid days of above 20mph trades and mast high waves. But then, too good of a time can take its toll, three mast were broken and some very tired testers crawled into bed after a spirited dinner at Jacques in Paia.
Nevin Sayre arrived this week to join Toni Barbieri and the AW test staff. Chad Fleischer with his fiancee Renee Flaster also joined the 2000 Test team. Chad is the current National Down Hill Champion and a two time Alpine Olympian. He is ranked 15th in the World, and is an avid windsurfer. Along with his brother Korby and sister Shayla they have been ripping up the waves at Club Paradise.
