USA WINS SECOND RACE! March 31: After a long windless start the American Team wins by .02 miles in an exciting down wind race. Both Teams cover a total of 181 miles from Cadiz to Mohammedia, a port town near Casablanca. Most of the way the teams had to motor as glass seas and schools of dolphis greated the speeding RIBs. The TAWR2000 continues to be an adventure as each days schedule and events have become totally unpredictable. Today April 1, the team race to Agadir, a 230 mile journet. With a late start, it is anticipated that they jourey will finish into the night.
