A tropical storm, traveling fast and light along the north shore of Maui, washed in daybreak at Ho’okipa (ho-oh-KEEP-a) Beach Park.  It swept across the gray horizon like a mop on a smooth concrete slab, leaving behind a pale sky with clouds as white and fluffy as sweet Hawaiian bread.
