The U.S. Windsurfing Association is the national organizing authority for the sport of windsurfing the in U.S. and Council of U.S. SAILING. USWA promotes the sport by providing information, keeping communication open, solving problems relating to safety and access, working on environmental concerns, offering membership services, issuing sail numbers, creating event guidelines, sanctioning events, and water quality improvement.
